Welcome to our first PAGS Blog!

WHY?

Welcome to our first PAGS Blog!  We decided that creating a blog would be a great way to keep our patients and their families informed regarding a variety of topics. While both our website and our newsletter provide great information, a blog allows us to have our providers – and other guest bloggers – share their clinical experiences in addition to highlighting recent medical advances and research studies. Remember – it is our goal to work with you to ensure that your children stay healthy and happy; the more we are able to keep you informed and educated, the more effective our partnership will be. We know you have questions and concerns, and when you’re with your children in the exam room, you might not have the presence of mind to remember to voice your concerns or ask all of your questions.

WHAT?

The topic of future posts will be determined by what we are hearing from YOU and your children when you are in our offices. Are you concerned about concussions because you have a daughter or son who plays soccer or football? We will have a blog post about that! Do you have questions surrounding the HPV vaccine? We’ll discuss and provide information on that topic as well. We are always listening to your questions and looking for the best ways to answer them as thoroughly and comprehensively as possible. So please feel free to speak up! Tell us what topics you wish you had more information on, and we will do everything we can to provide that information.  Not in our office often? You can always shoot us an email at blog@pags.com.

HOW?

So remember to check out our new and improved website often (www.PAGS.com), as we will try to post new blogs there as often as possible (not to mention it’s just a really great site, with medicine dosing charts, symptom checklists, bios on all of our providers, etc.). You can also “Like” us on Facebook – a link to current posts will be there, too. We also use Facebook to share articles and information put out by organizations such as the American Academy of Pediatrics and, on a lighter note, to share really cute pictures of some of our patients!

Everyone at PAGS thanks you for choosing us to be a part of your child’s healthcare team. You are your child’s most important caregiver, and we look forward to a long partnership with you. It is our mission to assure that all of our patients grow up in a healthy environment – together we can help them achieve their greatest potential!
