Starting a family or welcoming another child into your family is a wonderful experience and truly a gift. Along with the beauty and joy of pregnancy, delivery, and then coming home, there are bound to be times when you have questions about how to care for your baby and family.
We are here for you and your family.
We are excited and honored that you are considering us for your child’s care. It is always special for us to be invited by new parents to join in the care of a family member. The continuity of care and the amazement of watching a baby grow and develop into a wonderful child is one of the primary reasons that we all feel privileged to work in pediatrics.
A few weeks before delivery, call the office to let us know you are expecting.
You may want to download and fill out our paperwork ahead of time.
When the happy day has arrived, you can tell the hospital staff that you have chosen us as your pediatrician.
You are already well under way to completing what you need to do before you have your baby. Research our Pediatricians and the locations of our offices. Confirm that we accept your health insurance. Attend a Meet the Pediatrician Night and/or schedule a prenatal consult. You may do all of these or none of them. We are happy to accept new babies without a prenatal consult. You can inform your OB that we will be your baby's pediatrician and notify us after the baby is born to register your child and make his/her first appointment.
Once your baby is born, please call the office to schedule your baby's first visit. Please call us before you are discharged from the hospital. Our Pediatricians prefer to see the baby 2-3 days after discharge from the hospital. Once you have scheduled your first appointment, you will receive an email or a text from us that will allow you to complete your registration process from the comfort of your own home. Please contact us if you do not receive this communication within 24 hours of your appointment.
