Emily R. Reiniger MSW, joined PAGS in September 2023 as a Clinical Social Worker. Emily attended St. Lawrence University, in NY where she earned her Bachelor of Arts with honors in Anthropology and African and Global Studies.
Emily has experience in outpatient therapy and In Home Therapy for children and teens at Children’s Friend and Family in Gloucester. She also has experience facilitating parenting skills groups and coaching at Pathways for Children in Beverly. Prior to starting her Master of Social Work, Emily managed the Citizenship Program at the MIRA Coalition in Boston where she helped immigrants apply for citizenship.
She graduated in August 2023 with her Master of Social Work from Salem State University Salem, Phi Alpha National Honors Society.
Emily’s believes in the transformative power of a therapeutic relationship and approaches therapy from a person-centered lens. She uses techniques from play therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy and emotion focused therapies.
Emily lives locally with her family and two dogs. She enjoys practicing yoga and exercising, reading Sci-Fi and fantasy novels, and foraging for mushrooms in the local woods as a form of mindfulness.
