Dr. Scaramozza grew up in Melrose, MA and graduated from Northeastern University with a BA in Finance. He then worked in Boston for a few years in corporate operations and finance. Side projects helped him decide to pursue medicine, so he enrolled in Tufts University Post-Baccalaureate pre-medical program. He then attended Tufts University School of Medicine, where he earned his MD and MBA degrees. After a short time in the Berkshires, he practiced primary care pediatrics on the North Shore of Boston for close to 20 years. He has also worked with the Board of Directors and as the Chair of the Finance Committee of a large health care network. In addition to caring for patients, he has been actively involved in the clinical education of pediatrics residents as a member of the faculty at Tufts University School of Medicine.
He enjoys cycling, music, art, and baking crusty bread.
