Dr. Mazda Jalali has been at PAGS for over 18 years. Dr. Jalali was born in Tehran, Iran and grew up in Los Angeles, California. He attended undergraduate school at UCLA, where he later obtained a Master of Public Health degree. Dr. Jalali received his M.D. from the University of Vermont and completed his pediatric training at Massachusetts General Hospital.
He is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and speaks both Farsi and French.
He enjoys teaching medical students from Boston University and has earned many teaching awards from Mass General Hospital and Harvard Medical School. He loves music and is an avid record collector. He lives locally with his wife, two young children, and his dog Piper. Piper actively volunteers as a therapy dog and visits patients at Boston Medical Center.
