Michelle Silkes, LICSW, joined PAGS in May as the Director of Behavioral Health.
She received her BS in Human Services from Lesley College, in Cambridge MA and earned her Master’s Degree in social work from Boston University. Michelle has been practicing as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker for 22 years.
She has worked in a variety of settings including hospital, residential, home, and ambulatory services. Michelle uses a strength based and collaborative approach to empower clients and partners with them to explore their emotions, set goals for themselves, identify strengths, and look towards the future. Michelle has specific experience helping others cope with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and substance use. Appointments are available in the Beverly office.
Michelle lives locally and enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and two Bengal cats.
