Sarah Gifford, PMHNP, joined PAGS in June 2023 as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
She was born and raised in Essex, MA and earned her Bachelor’s of Psychology from Gordon College in Wenham, MA and her Bachelor’s of Nursing and Masters of Nursing degree from Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions in Boston, MA.
Sarah has been practicing as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, providing care across the lifespan since 2013. She has experience working with families navigating a variety of diagnoses including depression, anxiety, and ADHD. She provides medication management for children, adolescents, and adults. She speaks Spanish and enjoys working with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds. In addition to general outpatient psychiatry, Sarah has worked as a consultant to pediatricians and treated patients within the primary care setting in the Metro West Area.
Sarah lived in Boston for several years before moving back to the North Shore. She lives locally with her husband and two young daughters. She is an avid runner and has completed a number of marathons and road races. She enjoys trail running, traveling and experience new cultures.
